With the first visit to Georgia, Latvian Rural forum has launched the activities of the project “Support for the development of regions of Moldova and Georgia, by promoting the local partnerships and by improving national, regional and local governance capacities of planning and conducting the development actions”, financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia.
On Monday, 6th of August, the first Seminar entitled “Development of coastal areas-policies and practices” was organized in Batumi and gathered the Minister of Agriculture of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, as well as other representatives of government and 21 representative of Local Action groups (LAG).
Other seminars are planned this week in different locations of Ajara, as well as different meetings with local entrepreuneurs.
