The goal of the project is to promote the development of energy communities in the rural areas of Latvia, taking into account examples of good practice from Germany.

The project plans activities ob 3 levels: national (discussions and meetings with the Ministry of Climate and Energy, development of recommendations), regional level (capacity building and informing the various parties involved – planning regions, municipalities, SIA, etc.) and local level (establishment of a pilot energy community in rural areas – from theories to real practice).
